Kefir is well known as a healthy drink which is particularly popular in middle east and Europe. But nowadays, all the people in the world can consume it. Some people consider that kefir and yogurt is the same. But actually, they are not. The truth is that Kefir and yogurt have similarity. Both of them are cultured milk products and almost has the same taste. The significant thing that makes them different can be seen in their fermentation process. Yogurt is only fermented with bacteria. Meanwhile, Kefir is fermented with bacteria and yeast.

Kefir and Yogurt also contain different types of bacteria. Kefir contains beneficial bacteria which are not commonly found in yogurt. Yogurt contains beneficial bacteria that provide food for friendly bacteria in there. Kefir has active yeast and friendly bacteria which are having more nutritive value compare to yogurt because it helps digest the food you eat and keeps the colon environment clean. So, it is actually better to consume kefir rather than yogurt. Kefir Yogurt is similar in texture and taste. But kefir is thinner and it is easily to be drunk.

So, if you are worrying your metabolism, consuming kefir is the best answer. As already explained, that it improves your digestion. Kefir is also good to treat the heart disease. Kefir clears the blood vessels and also regulates the blood pressure. There are many kind of disease that can be prevented by consuming Kefir. It is because Kefir helps to strengthen your immune system. Consuming kefir is the easiest way to keep healthy.
